Reliable, Rapid, and Wave-Powered

Water Bros Desalination is developing the next generation of wave-driven emergency response and water delivery systems for coastal and island communities. By harnessing the predictable power of ocean waves, our technology reduces reliance on fuel-based water production and provides secure, local access to fresh drinking water.

How it Works

Reliable

Dual-pump redundancy ensures operation even if one side fails.

Low Maintenance

Designed for simple repairs using basic tools and locally available parts.

Deploy Anywhere

Works in remote coastal and islanded regions with minimal infrastructure.

Our system uses commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components to create a heave-based buoy that converts wave motion into rotational energy. This energy drives dual, brine pressure-assisted, positive displacement pumps, which operate two independent reverse osmosis systems.

Why it Matters

Fresh Water, Anywhere

Converts seawater into clean drinking water using only ocean waves.

Zero Fuel Dependence

No reliance on diesel, electricity, or external power sources.

Environmental Impact

No emissions, no land use, and designed to work in harmony with marine ecosystems.

Access to fresh water is a critical challenge for many coastal and island communities, where resources are limited, and traditional desalination methods rely on costly fuel and infrastructure. Our wave-powered system provides a secure, local, and fuel-free solution to water scarcity.

Advancing Knowledge & Innovation

We are committed to educating communities and developing next-generation marine energy solutions. Our work has been showcased at leading industry conferences, including:
